Dina Axelrad Perry Pool

Located on the first floor of Fitzgerald Gym, the Dina Axelrad Perry Pool is home to our women's swimming and diving team.  The 6,600 sq.ft. facility encompasses a 25-yard pool that offers six lanes with starting blocks, a one-meter-high springboard and seating for 400 spectators.  Floor-to-ceiling windows provide ample natural light for a pool that accommodates up to 100 swimmers.  
 
In April 2019, the venue was named in honor of Queens College alumnae, Dina Axelrad Perry, who facilitated a number of improvements to the facility and its locker rooms. 
 
Our recreational programs for students and community members are also housed in this venue.  The facility hosts numerous competitive meets, swimming and scuba lessons, lifeguard training, private swim clubs and children's parties.  Queens College lifeguards are also available for hire.
