Queens College Athletics

1. College Programs take precedence over all rentals.
2. The determination about whether or not the proposed activity is appropriate shall be at the sole discretion of the Queens College Athletics Director or a designee.
3. Events sponsored, organized, and run by Queens College for college purposes must meet the actual costs of the event being held.
4. Queens College Athletics Department's hourly rates do not include Security, Custodial, or Administrative charges. Expenses for these or any additional event needs will be incurred by the customer.
5. Security requirements are based on the attendance number and the event type.
6. Potential renters will be asked to complete a security questionnaire before all events.
   • The answers to these questions will be reflected in the security charges.
   • The security guard/attendee ratio requirement is 1:100. 
   • Rates for security are $65 per hour for one guard for every 100 attendees.
7. Custodial is based on the event type and the event hours.
   • A minimum charge for custodial is $60 per hour for four hours.
8. We will charge 10 percent of the hourly rental fee for an administrative charge or a minimum fee of $200 for an administrative fee – whichever is greater. 
   • This fee covers administrative costs involved in processing contracts, arranging all necessary event requirements, and hiring an event supervisor who will remain on-site throughout the event.
   • The hourly charge will be calculated based on the event time plus two hours for setup and breakdown.
   • The minimum rental will be for four hours.
9. All fees are based on input from the customer, and any additional charges due to changes will be passed on to the customer.
10. The final payment is due 30 business days before the event.
11. Please know that all lesses of the College's athletic facilities must enter into a contractual agreement with the College that includes purchasing adequate liability insurance, a copy of which is available upon request. 
12. Queens College Athletics Department reserves the right to cancel all events without a response within sufficient time from date of invoice. 
13. Alcohol and smoking are not permissible on campus.
