2012: Opened the season with a double-double (13 kills, 17 digs) against St. Anselm (9/1)...Recorded a double-double (10 kills, 21 digs) versus Southern Connecticut State (9/1)...Posted a match-best 17 digs versus Ashland (9/8)...Had her third double-double of the year (13 kills, 13 digs) against Stonehill (9/15)...Recorded a fourth double-double (15 kills, 17 digs) versus Molloy (9/18)...Earned a fifth double-double (10 kills, 14 digs) against NYIT (10/9)...Had another double-double (12 kills, 19 digs) at Molloy (1016)...Posted yet another double-double (10 kills, 15 digs) versus UDC (10/23).
2009: Suzanne was named 2009 Outstanding Freshman for the Queens College Volleyball team as she averaged 1.36 kills, 1.93 digs and 1.43 assists per game in 26 games. She twice had 10 kills in a game - versus Molloy on October 22nd and Nyack on October 29th - and ranked fourth on the club with 117 kills. Her 166 digs were third on the team and she had nine or more on seven occasions, including a season high 15 on September 19th against Merrimack College.
On November 2nd she was named ECC Rookie of the Week for her efforts in games against Nyack and Dowling. Byrne had 10 kills and a .450 kill percentage in a 3-0 win over Nyack last and had seven kills, two blocks and a match high five aces in a loss at Dowling College
Before Queens: While at St. Patrick''s in Richmond, Canada, Suzanne was 2008 British Columbia Most Valuable Player and was a BC Provincial first team all-star in 2007. In 2008 her team was league champion, British Columbia Provincial Champion, British Columbia Catholic School Champion and British Columbia Lower Mainland Champion.
