Shawn Baumann joins head coach Stefan Leger's coaching staff for the 2021-2022 season.
Before joining Queens, Baumann spent the 2019 season as an assistant coach at Queensborough Community College where he helped guide the Tigers to a 19-5 overall record, the 2019 CUNYAC championship, Region 15 championship, District 21 championships. The Tigers finished the season ranked 9th in the country.
A former student-athlete himself, Baumann played volleyball at CUNY Brooklyn, while competing on the cross country team.
A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., he is a physical education and health teacher at a high school in NYC and coaches club volleyball at Academy Volleyball of Long Island.
