Atilla is a two time Hungarian Junior Champion and was ranked as high as ninth in Hungary at one time.

Last season, Atilla was one of the top three players at Division I UNLV, who were ranked in the top 60 in the country. In 2009 he earned his first letter as a Rebel playing both singles and doubles. He compiled a 17-12 overall singles record (including a sparkling 5-1 mark in MWC play while competing at the 4-6 spots with most of his work (11-5) coming in fifth position. Atilla was also 14-19 doubles play including an 8-3 mark in tournament action.
