Edil was chosen East Coast Conference Co-Rookie of the Year after averaging 8.8 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.7 steals and 2.0 three point field goals per game for the Knights in 2008-09. He scored in double-digits 13 times, including a season high 20 against Bridgeport on January 17th in Flushing.

While at Salesian High School, Edil was named all-CHSAA B Division and Salesian''s MVP and Athlete of the Year in 2007. He also earned MVP honors in 2006 and won the Coaches Award in 2005.
