Anderson was a first team junior college All-American in 2008-09, averaging 14 points, nine assists, five rebounds and three steals a game for FIT, who were 28-1. He also led all junior college players in assists.

As a freshman at FIT, Anderson was a starter and was voted second team all-conference.
