Before arriving at QC, Ogechi was a member of her high school dance team. During her sophomore year in ''07, she got to showcase one of her pieces which got rave reviews and in her junior year of ''08 and senior year of ’09 high school, Ogechi made two other pieces that got a great response at her school talent show. One was a singing/dance piece, which later got scouted by a talent agency. Through all this, she still managed to keep up her grade point average to be a member of her school''s National Honor Society and she graduated with honors.

At her high school graduation ceremony of 2009, Ogechi was named one of the dancers of the year and was voted "Best Dancer" by her peers. Ogechi has been dancing since the age of 6 in 1998 and she joined the QC Dance Team in the spring of 2010.
