Tom made his collegiate debut for QC behind the plate on March10, 2008 against Dominican College.

On March 17, 2008 he singled against Dominican to record hisfirst hit and run batted in as a Knight. Tom had a two hit gameversus Molloy on march 23rd and drove in two runs at C.W. Post onApril 13th.

At North Shore High School, Tom started two of the four years hespent on the varsity as a catcher. In 2006 he was named MostImproved Player and in 2007 he earned all-conference honors, wonthe Coaches Award and was picked as the GNYSAA best catcher at theall-star game played at Shea Stadium.
