2016: Appeared in 30 games for the Knights with 84 plate appearances... Completed the season with a .186 batting average, .301 on base percentage and .257 slugging percentage... Tallied seven runs batted in and six runs scored on the season... Started the season with two hits in three at bats with a walk and a run scored vs. Dominican (N.Y.) (2/25)... Drove in two runs in a win over Stonehill (2/26)... Reached base twice and and scored a run vs. Merrimack (2/28)... Collected a double and drove in a run in a home win over Southern Connecticut State (3/12)... Contributed a sacrifice fly in a home win over Merrimack (3/19)... Smacked a double, drove in a run and scored a run at Molloy (4/15)... Went 2-4 at the plate with a double, run batted in and run scored at Caldwell (5/5).

Before Queens: Attended Monsignor Farrell High School in Staten Island… Played varsity baseball for the Lions under head coach Bob Mulligan… Won the Jack Curran Playoff MVP for his outsized role in leading the Lions to winning the 2015 CHSAA City Championship… Club team was the Richmond County Baseball Club, where he played for coach Nick Defendis.

Personal: Son of Edward and Ruthann Medina… Has an older brother, Eddie Medina, who played Division I baseball at St. John’s, and an older sister, Danielle… Favorite athletes are Derek Jeter and Dwayne Wade... Go-to meal is chicken cutlets… Enjoys playing basketball and flag football away from baseball… Participated in several community services projects including Meals on Wheels and the Special Olympics… Aims to manage his own accounting firm.
