2019: Appeared in 16 games over the season, going 2-0 with three saves and an earned-run average of 4.44 ... struck out 23 batters in 26.1 innings pitched and limited opposing hitters to a .252 batting average against him ... went seven appearances without allowing a run, surrendering just two hits in eight total innings from Mar. 17-Apr. 12 ... recorded a 1-2-3 inning with a strikeout and a save against Molloy (4/12) ... started the team's game against Dominican (NY) on Apr. 16, surrendering one run on three hits over two and one-thirds innings of work ... pitched a four-inning save with three strikeouts in an 11-4 win against Bridgeport (4/23) ... won games in back-to-back apperances against Saint Thomas Aquinas (4/29) and LIU Post (5/6) with the latter win guiding the Knights to the ECC Tournament for the first time since 1998.

2018: One-time East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week honoree (4/2) after pitching 6.1 innings of one-hit relief with nine strikeouts and recording his first career win in a 5-2 triumph over Caldwell on Mar. 29.

Prior to Queens: Was All-League and 2017 Pitcher of the Year at Sachem North.

Personal: Son of Dawn and Michael Kochen... has one older brother, Michael, who is a pitcher/third baseman at the College of Mount Saint Vincent... chose Queens College for the academic experience and the chance to continue playing baseball... lists Nolan Ryan as his favorite athlete... enjoys fishing, pizza and "Hawaii Five-O"... aspires to work in one of the "Big Four" accounting firms after graduation... majoring in Accounting.
