Received the NJCAA ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove Award in 2014 for stellar defensive play including 43 putouts, 64 assists and six double plays... Graduated from Ridgefield Park High School where played three years of varsity baseball and garned All-Big North Varsity recognition.

Personal: Son of Jim and Andrea Donohue... Has two younger brothers, Jarrett and Justin... Father, Jim, was the principal at his high school... Cousin Mike Teel played quarterback for Rutgers University and lead the Scarlet Knights to three straight bowl victories... Nickname is "Jimmer"... Loves a good burrito... Teammates with current Knight Matthew Dawkins while at Bergen... Has had to overcome/battle anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorder for most of his life... Wants to become a physical education teacher for special needs children and coach on the collegiate level... Major is Physical Education.
