Brian posted a 3-3 record with a 2.54 ERA for the Knights in2009. In nine appearances, he led the staff in wins, ERA, completegames (6), innings pitched (68.0) and strike outs (47).  Hisfinest hour came on April 13th at C.W. Post when he threw 10innings of shutout ball, giving up just five hits while strikingout eight to pick up his first win of the season. In his last fouroutings of 2009 Brian was 3-1 with a 1.22 ERA and four completegames. This included a career matching high of nine strike outsagainst Mercy in the season finale on may 1st. He also struck outnine at Adelphi on April Fool''s Day.

On April 2,2008 Friedman beat C.W. Post 4-2 to pick up hisfirst win as a Knight. he finished the year with a 1-5 record and afine 3.63 ERA. As a sophomore he was chosen Most ImprovedPlayer and as a junior was named the team''s MVP. Brian is 4-10lifetime and made his debut against Felician College on February24, 2007 in Myrtle Beach, SC.
