COLONIA, N.J. – In the eleventh East Coast Conference weekly report, three Queens College women's tennis student-athletes earned recognition, highlighted by rookie
Ela Vasic (Novi Sad, Serbia) earning her seventh Rookie of the Week honors. While the junior pair of
Sixtine Goubet (Lyon, France) and
Lilie Bizouerne (La Ciotat, France) were selected to the Honor Roll sheet.

In her lone match of the week, the nationally ranked No. 21 doubles pair of rookie
Ela Vasic and senior
Marie Bertran (Villelaure, France) earned a clutch 7-5 victory at the No. 1 spot, helping Queens secure the 4-3 win over UDC and finish ECC play a perfect 8-0.

Closing out ECC play with a perfect 8-0 record, No. 68 Goubet delivered a straight-set victory over Celia Bastin at No. 2 singles as Queens clinched a thrilling 4-3 win.

Similarly, No. 46 Bizouerne capped an undefeated 8-0 ECC campaign with a straight-set victory over Lina Benjelloun at No. 3 singles, helping secure the 4-3 team win.

Queens will wrap up the regular season on Saturday, April 18, traveling to West Haven, Conn. for another cross-divisional matchup against the University of New Haven Chargers. First serve is set for noon.
