COLONIA, N.J. – In the eighth East Coast Conference women's tennis weekly report sheet, two Queens College women's tennis student-athletes were honored. Rookie
Ela Vasic (Novi Sad, Serbia) was named Co-Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week, while junior
Lilie Bizouerne (La Ciotat, France) was named to the Honor Roll sheet.
Co-Player + Rookie of the Week
Vasic went 2-0 on the week, earning victories at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles against Daemen in ECC play. Vasic opened the day with a 6-1 win at No. 1 doubles alongside teammate Marie Bertan, before closing the afternoon with a dominant 6-0, 6-0 shutout victory over Marley Conover at No. 1 singles.
Honor Roll
Bizouerne also went 2-0 on the week with wins at No. 2 singles and No. 2 doubles against Daemen. Bizouerne teamed with
Sixtine Goubet for a 6-2 doubles victory over Carly Armitage and Ashley Bonilla, then finished the day with a strong 6-0, 6-1 win over Armitage in singles play.
