NEW YORK, N.Y. – On Tuesday, February 3, the Met Basketball Writers Association announced that Queens College men's basketball senior forward Tahj-Malik Campbell (Philadelphia, PA) was named to the MBWA Division II/III Honorable Mention list.
 
The recognition marks the second time this season Campbell has earned MET Honorable Mention honors.

Campbell led the Knights with an ECC weekly-high 27.5 points on 48.6% shooting, 8.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 2.5 steals, and 1.0 block per game. He opened the week with 22 points and 11 rebounds (team-leading ninth double-double of the season) to go along with four assists, two steals, and one block against CSI on Wednesday. In a thrilling comeback versus UDC on Saturday, Campbell delivered a career-best 33 points (ECC weekly-high) on 10 made field goals, adding six rebounds, four assists, three steals, and one block. Playing all 20 minutes of the second half, he scored 24 points on 8-of-12 shooting, hit two three-pointers, and went 6-for-6 from the free-throw line, marking his third 30+ point game this season.

The Knights open the month of February at home on Wednesday, February 4, hosting Molloy University Lions inside Fitzgerald Gymnasium in ECC play. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
