FLUSHING, N.Y. – Entering the spring season, head coach Alan Nagel and the Queens College women's tennis team hold a 5-0 overall record and are 4-0 in East Coast Conference (ECC) play. Highlighting the undefeated start are four Knights who earned top spots in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) national and East Region rankings.

The 2025 ITA East Region Singles Champion, junior Lilie Bizouerne (La Ciotat, France) leads the way, ranked No. 17 nationally in singles and No. 1 in the East Region. The junior enters the spring undefeated in singles at 10-0, while also posting an 8-1 record in doubles.

Fellow classmate Sixtine Goubet (Lyon, France) is ranked No. 22 nationally and No. 2 in the East, carrying an 8-1 record in both singles and doubles into the spring season.

The French duo has also established itself as a formidable doubles team, earning a No. 25 national ranking and No. 2 in the East Region, further showcasing the depth and strength of the Knights' lineup. Bizouerne and Goubet are the first Knights pair to be ranked nationally in both singles and doubles since Maja Makal and Luisa Auffarth in 2019.

Senior Marie Bertran (Villelaure, France) is ranked No. 6 in the East in singles and No. 3 in doubles alongside freshman partner Ela Vasic (Novi Sad, Serbia). Bertran enters the spring with a 5-1 singles record and 7-2 in doubles, while the doubles pairing of Bertran and Vasic remains undefeated at 2-0 as a duo.

As the Knights pursue the program's 24th NCAA Tournament appearance, the spring schedule features 11 total matches, including eight home contests, highlighted by key non-conference regional matchups against Franklin Pierce, Adelphi, and Jefferson, along with a notable road contest at Wilmington. Queens opens the spring slate on Wednesday, February 18, against Stony Brook, and will conclude the regular season on Saturday, April 18, against New Haven.

The ECC Postseason Tournament is scheduled for April 24–25 at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y., with the tournament set to be live streamed on FloCollege.
