MBB Mennander Claims ECC Rookie of the Week Honors as Campbell Lands on Honor Roll

COLONIA, N.J. – On the sixth East Coast Conference men's basketball weekly report sheet released Monday afternoon, Queens College men's basketball rookie forward Henri Mennander (Helsinki, Finland) was named Rookie of the Week for the third time this season.
 
Additionally, senior forward Tahj-Malik Campbell (Philadelphia, PA) earned his third Honor Roll selection of the year.

Rookie of the Week

Mennander led the Knights offensively, averaging 14.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game. In a back-and-forth contest against Pace, the rookie totaled nine points, seven rebounds, and two blocks. Mennander followed with a standout performance in the 74–71 comeback victory over Georgian Court, recording his fourth career double-double with a game-high 20 points, 16 rebounds, two blocks, and one steal.

Honor Roll

Campbell averaged 11.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.0 steals, and 1.0 blocks over two games. Returning from a two-game absence, Campbell posted eight points and four rebounds against Pace on Wednesday. He capped the week with his fourth double-double in the 74–71 comeback win over Georgian Court, finishing with 15 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, two blocks, and two steals.

NEXT GAME

The Knights will close out the 2025 calendar year on the road in Bridgeport, Conn., on Wednesday, December 31, as they face the University of Bridgeport Purple Knights. Tipoff is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
