FLUSHING, N.Y. – For the 22
nd time in program history, the Queens College Women's Tennis team will be dancing as the Knights earned the #1 seed to the NCAA Women's Tennis East Regional Bracket #1.

th year in charge of the Knights program's head coach
Alan Nagel and the Knights finished the 2023-2024 Regular Season with an overall record of 13-4.
This year the Knights have been ranked as high as #22 in the nation and #1 in the East Region. Individually Nagel helped guide graduate student
Eva Rivoal (Saint Denis de Pile, France) to a national Singles Ranking of #20 during the fall, while the Knights' #1 doubles pair of senior
Maja Makal (Bialystok, Poland) and junior
Saga Berggren (Uddevalla, Sweden) have been ranked as high as #33 in the nation this spring.
During the Fall the Knights won the ECC Regular Season Championship and advanced to the ECC Final for the 13th straight year. Five Knights were awarded ECC All-Conference honors, an ECC-Team High, while Nagel was named Co-Coach of the Year.
The Knights will await the winner of the First Round match between #4 seed University of the District of Columbia Firebirds against #5 seed Adelphi University Panthers. The First Round match will take place on Friday (May 10) afternoon at noon.
Queens will play on Saturday (May 11) afternoon at 3 p.m. against the winner of UDC vs. Adelphi. Both matches will take place inside the QC Indoor Tennis Bubble.
During the Fall season, the Knights earned a 7-0 victory over the Firebirds back on October 14. While the Knights matched up against the Panthers a month ago which saw Queens earn a 7-0 victory back on April 11 to help boost their resume.
The winner of the second round match will earn a trip to the Sweet 16, May 20-24, in Orlando, Florida. Rollins College and the Greater Orlando Sports Commission will serve as hosts.
