STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The Queens College men's and women's indoor track and field season opened up Friday afternoon as the team competed in the Fastrack Season Opener inside the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island.
 

Meet Highlights

• Freshman Asia Kirkpatrick made her debut in the Women's 200M dash with a time of 27.65.
  • The rookie also earned a time of 1:04.79 in the 400m Dash
• Senior Fatima Morrobel earned a Top 10 finish in the 500m Run with a time of 1:21.95.
  • Morrobel placed seventh in the 800m Run with a time of 2:28.13.
• Junior Rachel Mow placed 23^rd with a time of 5:42.89 in the 1 Mile Run.
  • In the 3000m Run the junior placed 7^th with a time of 11:24.00.
• Junior Madelyn McMath notched a throw of 7.48m in the Shot Put event.
• Sophomore Kadeem Patterson placed 20^th in the Men's 200m Dash with a time of 22.56.
• Rookie Dean Tirado placed 13^th with a time of 2:02.51 in the 800m Run.
• Sophomore Daniel DeGregori placed 11^th with a time of 4:33.60 in the 1 Mile Run.
• Senior John Ray placed fifth in the 5000m Run with a time of 15:46.63.
• Senior Hakeem Griffiths placed 15^th with a mark of 6.33 in the Long Jump.
• Senior Zack Sow earned a mark of 12.28m in the Triple Jump.

NEXT MEET:
The Knights will use the week to prepare for the 2024 Seahawk Shootout as they return to Ocean Breeze Complex on Friday, Dec. 13. First event is for a noon start time.
