FLUSHING, N.Y. – The Queens College men's basketball continues non-conference play with a road trip before opening their East Coast Conference slate on Saturday afternoon.
Queens College Knights Outlook
- Queens enter the week with an overall record of 2-5 and are on a two-game losing streak having fallen to Post University and Georgian Court University last week.
- As a team, the Knights are averaging 63.6 PPG on 39.4% shooting, 32.0 RPG, 11.0 APG, 6.9 SPG, and 4.4 BPG.
- Senior guard Shamar Chester (Queens, N.Y.) leads the offense averaging 10.3 PPG, 4.4 RPG, and 1.7 APG.
- On the year the senior has recorded a season-high 18 points vs. Georgian Court (12/1), eight rebounds vs. Chestnut Hill (11/16), and four assists vs. AIC (11/20).
- The senior needs 100 points to join the 1K Points club.
- Senior forward Damiri Lindo (Oakland, CA) is averaging 9.8, PPG, 2.7 RPG, and 1.7 SPG.
- Lindo recorded a season-high 16 points on 7-of-8 shooting to go with three rebounds and two steals in the victory over Goldey-Beacom on Saturday, Nov. 23.
- On Monday, Nov. 25 Lindo earned his first East Coast Conference MBB Honor Roll spot of the year for his two-game performance last week.
- Senior guard Nasan Ayala (Lefrak, N.Y.) is 9.6 PPG, 3.3 RPG, 1.6 APG.
- Ayala recorded a season-best 15 points vs. Pace (11/8), six rebounds vs. Georgian Court (12/1), and four assists vs. Post (11/26).
- On Monday, Dec. 3 Ayala was awarded a Honor Roll on the ECC Weekly Report Sheet.
- In the 2024-2025 ECC Coaches Preseason Poll head Coach Matt Collier's squad has been voted to finish sixth earning 38 points and earning the last spot of the six-team ECC Men's Basketball Postseason Tournament. (Link)

The Knights open the week in Vermont on Tuesday, Dec. 3 against the Purple Knights of Saint Michael's College in non-conference play before hosting the Lions of Molloy University on Saturday, Dec. 7 in their ECC opener.

- The Knights are looking for their first home victory over the Lions since the 21-22 season when Queens earned a 76-68 overtime victory on December 15, 2021.

Queens will conclude the week in Rochester, N.Y. as they return to ECC play on Friday, Dec. 13 against the Redhawks of Roberts Wesleyan University.
