FLUSHING, N.Y. – The Queens College men's basketball team extended their win streak to four games with a Friday evening victory over Roberts Wesleyan in East Coast Conference play.
The Knights look to extend that streak as they travel to Buffalo for a two-game ECC road trip beginning on Friday (Jan. 26) evening against the Saints of D'Youville University before concluding the trip against the Wildcats of Daemen University on Sunday (Jan. 28) afternoon.
Queens College Knights Preview
- The Knights are riding a four-game win streak and look to extend it over the weekend in a two-game road trip against D'Youville and Daemen.
- Senior forward Malik Bentinck (Queens, N.Y.) is averaging 13.1 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game with eight double-doubles on the year.
- In the victory over Goldey-Beacom (Jan. 13) Bentinck recorded a career-high 20 points and a career-high 16 rebounds in the win over Roberts Wesleyan (Jan. 19).
- On Tuesday (Dec.12) the senior earned MBWA Honorable Mention for his first regional honors of the year.
- On Monday (Jan.22) Bentinck earned his fourth Honor Roll spot and has earned two Defensive Player of the Week nods.

- Junior Shamar Chester (Queens, N.Y.) is averaging 10.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game.

- Chester has recorded several career-highs this year

- Queens is looking to earn a season series split as they fell short at home on December 8th in the first meeting.
- Trayton Trice leads the offense averaging 14.6 points, and 6.3 rebounds per game.
- While Chase Jenkins is averaging 14.1 points and 4.6 rebounds per game.

- It will be the 22nd meeting All-Time and the second meeting of the season with Queens looking to sweep the season series.
- Last season Queens earned their first victory in Amherst for the first time in program history in 10 games.
- Dylan Fasoyiro leads the offense averaging 15.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game.
