Scouting the Knights
- The Knights are 3-8 overall and 1-2 ECC on the season.
- They are coming off a 71-82 loss to Stonehill College in non-conference play.
- In 11 games, Queens is averaging 58.9 points per game on 39.4% shooting, 36.2 rebounds, and 12.0 assists per game.
- Freshman Cecilia Lapertosa (Whitesboro, N.Y.) leads the offense averaging 13.1 PPG, 7.3 RPG. On the season, the rookie has three double-doubles with a career-high 24 points and 13 rebounds against D'Youville.
- While sophomore Chelsea Reeves (Brooklyn, N.Y.) is averaging 12.0 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.
- On Tuesday (Jan. 3), junior guard Khadija Demry (Brooklyn, N.Y.) was awarded ECC Player of the week honors. (Link)
- It is the second time this season a Knight has earned ECC Player of the Week honors with Reeves earning back on Dec. 12.
Scouting the Lions
- Molloy enters Flushing with a 3-9 overall record and 2-2 in conference play.
- They are coming off a 46-62 loss to Bentley University in non-conference action.
- In 13 games on the season, they are averaging 49.8 points per game on 30.2% shooting, 40.9 rebounds, and 8.5 assists per game.
- Trinity Hudson leads the offense averaging 11.3 points per game.
- She tallied a season-high 22 points against Dominican University on Nov. 20.
- Gianni Domond is averaging 9.3 points per game
- Domond tallied a season-high 17 points against Roberts Wesleyan on Dec. 17.
