FLUSHING, N.Y. – After concluding a season-high eight-game road stand, the Queens College volleyball team returns to Flushing on Sunday (Sept. 18) afternoon as the Knights welcome the Cougars of Caldwell University to Fitzgerald Gymnasium.

Caldwell University Series History
- Record: 1-5
- Last Matchup: September 7, 2021 (W 3-1) | Current Streak: W1
- It will be the seventh meeting in program history against the Cougars
- The Knights ended a five-game losing streak last season with a 3-1 victory on the road.
- It will be the first home game against Caldwell since the 2014 season with the Knights searching for their first victory against the CACC opponent.
Queens College
- The Knights are 4-8 overall on the season and are coming off a 1-1 split this week with a 3-2 victory over Pace and a 0-3 loss to Adelphi.
- Sophomore Christina Franco (Lynbrook, N.Y.) has tallied 20 kills on the week including her fourth double-double with 14 kills and 25 digs in the five-setter victory over Pace.
- Rookie Kendall Conrad (Carrolltown, PA) tallied a career-high 17 kills in the 3-0 sweep over Le Moyne, while Franco tallied back-to-back double-doubles last week.
- On Monday (Sept. 12) Five Knights were honored by the East Coast Conference office in the third weekly report. (Link)
- Conrad was named Rookie of the Week as Queens earned their second Rookie of the week honors on the season.
- Sophomore Despina Boudouris (Athens, Greece) was named Setter of the Week.
- Franco, senior Alexis Deodat (Tampa Bay, FL), and freshman Ryann Frontera (Dripping Springs, TX) earned a spot on the weekly honor roll sheet.
Caldwell University
- The Cougars are 3-6 on the season and are coming off a 3-2 victory over Alliance University
- The offense is led by Reese Sherwood who has tallied 121.5 points for 105 kills, 128 assists, and five service aces.
- While Mary Grace Hartmann has tallied 76.5 points for 56 kills and nine service aces.
UP NEXT: East Coast Conference play in Buffalo, N.Y. as the Knights match up against defending champions Daemen University Wildcats on Saturday (Sept. 24) afternoon. The trip concludes against the Saints of D'Youville University on Sunday (Sept. 25) afternoon.
