FLUSHING, N.Y. – The first week of Knights Athletics has come and gone as Queens College men's soccer, women's soccer, and volleyball all opened their 2022 campaign at home.

Men's soccer went 1-1 to open the season as
Leo Pinto (Forest Hills, N.Y.) and
Adolfo Martinez Paquet (
Sevilla, Spain) scored the first two goals of the 2022 season in the 2-1 victory over Bentley Saturday evening.
Volleyball hosted the Long Island Invitational Friday (Aug. 26) and Saturday (Aug. 27) against four regional teams. The Knights went 2-2 in the Long Island Invitational including a 2-0 Saturday as they swept Nyack before a five-set 3-2 thriller against Post moved them to .500 on the young season.
Women's soccer opened the season on Sunday and it was picture perfect start as
Julia Ragone (Centereach, N.Y.) opened the
Thomas Paris era with a goal. But the Knights could not respond to Dominican's second-half comeback as they fell 2-1 in the season opener.

- Saturday (Sept. 3) – Men's Soccer at Southern New Hampshire University at 4:00 p.m.

- Women's Soccer vs. Chestnut Hill at 5:00 p.m.
- Men's Soccer vs. Chestnut Hill at 7:30 p.m.
- Sunday (Sept. 4) Women's Soccer vs. St. Michael's College at Noon
Home Spectator Policy:
- Anyone not vaccinated or cannot provide proof of negative test result will not be allowed entry into the campus
- All volleyball home games will take place in the Auxiliary Gym
- For continuous visitors (parents/relatives) of Queens College student-athletes, who will attend more than three home games a month, you must upload proof of vaccination or negative PCR test results within 7-days of entry through Cleared4.
