FLUSHING, N.Y. – The Queens College men's basketball team opens a four-game homestand Sunday afternoon to conclude the regular season as they welcome the Purple Knights of the University of Bridgeport.
It will be the 49
th meeting in program history with the Purple Knights leading the overall series 10-38. The Knights ended a three-game losing skid on January 27 on the road as they picked up a key East Coast Conference win.
At home, the Knights are 2-10 in their last 10 games and will look to improve that record as the race for the postseason enters the final week.

Scouting Queens College
Queens (8-10 overall, 6-8 ECC) is on a season-high four-game losing streak and will be looking to sweep Bridgeport in a crucial ECC game. The Knights have dropped to sixth place in the conference standings.
As a team, Queens is averaging 69.4 points on 43.0 percent shooting, 42.6 rebounds, and 12.7 assists per game.
Sophomore
Dion Herrington (Englewood, N.J.) leads the offense in conference play averaging 11.8 points per game. Herrington has tallied three 20 points scoring efforts this season and is coming off a 21 point scoring effort in the loss to Roberts Wesleyan College Wednesday evening.
While freshman
Jayden Seraphin (Lakeview, N.Y.) has tallied eight double-digit scoring efforts and is coming off a 17-point performance against Roberts Wesleyan.
Scouting University of Bridgeport
Bridgeport (9-15 overall, 6-9 ECC) is coming off a 76-61 loss to Molloy College and are seventh in the conference standing, one game behind the Knights.
As a team, they are averaging 77.3 points on 41.2 percent shooting with 38.5 rebounds and 15.8 rebounds per game.
The offense is led by Malcolm Moye averaging 14.5 points per game in conference play. Moye has tallied 13 double-digits including a career-high 44 points against STAC on January 26.
While Mason Williams is averaging 12.9 points per game and has tallied 15 double-digit points this season including five 20 points or more this season. Williams tallied a career-high 28 points in the victory over Staten Island on January 8
th.
UP NEXT: The Knights welcome the Redhawks of Roberts Wesleyan College on Tuesday (Feb. 22) to conclude the season series. It will be the second meeting in seven days between both teams. Tip-off set for 5:00 p.m.
