FLUSHING, N.Y. – The Queens College women's basketball team opens the last month of the regular season in Staten Island, N.Y. as they match up against fellow CUNY member College of Staten Island Dolphins Wednesday evening.
Wednesday's meeting will be the first meeting between both programs in the Division II Era.

Scouting Queens College
Queens (2-14 overall, 1-8 ECC) concludes a two-game road trip as they take on the Dolphins for the first time in program history.
On the season Queen is averaging 64.7 points on 40.2 percent shooting, 40.5 rebounds, and 15.1 assists per game.
The offense is led by Junior
Khadija Demry (Brooklyn, N.Y.) averaging 12.3 points per game on 38.2 percent shooting. Demry has tallied nine double-digit performances including a career-high 24 points over Post University. The Brooklyn native has been named to the East Coast Conference honor roll sheet twice.
While freshman
Julia DeBeatham (Menands, N.Y.) returned to action after missing three games and quickly made an impact. DeBeatham averaged 15 points in the Knights 1-1 week and earned ECC Rookie of the Week honor becoming the second Knights player to be named Rookie of the Week this season.
Scouting College of Staten Island
Staten Island (4-13 overall, 2-7 ECC) are coming off 1-1 week in their Western New York with a victory over D'Youville College.
As a team, they are averaging 57.0 points on 33.5 percent shooting, 35.7 rebounds, and 11.2 assists per game on the season.
Ashley Lambert leads the Dolphins averaging 10.8 points per game and has tallied 10 double-digit scoring efforts. She tallied a season-high 21 points against the University of the District of Columbia.
While Jenalyse Alarcon is averaging 10.6 points per game and has tallied 11 double-double performances on the season. She notched a career-high 32 points in the win over Bridgeport.
