NEW YORK, N.Y. – On Tuesday (Dec. 13) morning, the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association announced the second Weekly awards of the season, and Queens College women's basketball sophomore guard
Chelsea Reeves (Brooklyn, N.Y .) earned a honorable mention spot on the second Player of the Week sheet.
Reeves who was named East Coast Conference Player of the Week on Monday (Dec. 12) afternoon adds to her list as the fall semester starts to wind down.
The sophomore matched her career-high 33 points to go with 10 rebounds as she recorded her first double-double of the season in the Knights' 61-58 victory over Roberts Wesleyan Friday night.
In notching her seventh career double-double, the Brooklyn native recorded 12 points in the fourth quarter, including icing the game at the charity stripe by going 13-14 on the night as Queens earned their first ECC victory of the season.
