FLUSHING, N.Y. – Continuing East Coast Conference action, the Queens College women's soccer team went up against regional ranked #6 Molloy University Lions Saturday evening in East Coast Conference play at QC Soccer Field in strong wind and rainy conditions.
The Lions opened the scoring in the 6
th minute of play before they went ahead 2-0 in the 21
st minute of play.
Having spent all of the first half without a shot, a Molloy foul would give Queens a set piece in the 41
st minute of play.

Sarah Anderson (East Setauket, N.Y.) would allow sophomore
Kristina Gambino (Deer Park, N.Y.) to bang home her first goal of the season as Queens cut the deficit down to 2-1 heading into halftime.
Having cut the deficit down to 2-1 to end the first half, the Knights would surrender two goals in the first five minutes of play into the second half to steal the momentum as Queens were unable to complete the rally.
