FLUSHING, N.Y. – The Queens College women's basketball team opens a two-game road trip Sunday afternoon starting with a trip to Rockville Centre, N.Y. as they conclude their East Coast Conference series against the Molloy College Lions.
The Knights are on a three-game losing against the Lions and will be looking to split the season series Sunday afternoon.

Molloy took the first matchup in Flushing as they defeated the Knights 64-50.
Scouting Queens College
Queens (2-13 overall, 1-7 ECC) ended a four-game losing skid as they defeated AIC to end their non-conference schedule on a high note.
On the season Queen is averaging 66.1 points on 49.5 percent shooting, 40.8 rebounds, and 15.1 assists per game.
The offense is led by Junior
Khadija Demry (Brooklyn, N.Y.) averaging 12.6 points per game on 39.2 percent shooting. Demry has tallied nine double-digit performances including a career-high 24 points over Post University. The Brooklyn native has been named to the East Coast Conference honor roll sheet twice.
While senior
Nora Gabel (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.) has found her shooting form and has tallied 12 points or more in four straight games. Gabel tallied a season-high 21 points against Roberts Wesleyan and has made 19 three-pointers in the last four games.
Scouting Molloy College
Molloy (7-8 overall, 4-4 ECC) enter Sunday on a one-game losing streak having fallen to Roberts Wesleyan last Sunday.
As a team the Lions are averaging 59.0 points on 37.3 percent shooting, with 40.7 rebounds and 12.4 assists per game.
The offense is led by Gabriella Aspuru averaging 17.4 points per game and has tallied 20 points or more scoring efforts on five different occasions including a season-high 30 points against Daemen College.
UP NEXT: Queens open February on the road as they travel to Staten Island, N.Y. on Wednesday evening with a matchup against College of Staten Island Dolphins. Tip-off set for 5:30 p.m.
