Flushing, N.Y.- Non-conference action continues for the Queens College volleyball team as they travel to Lakewood, New Jersey to take part in the GCU Tri-Series hosted by Georgian Court University Lions. The Knights will go up against host Lions (5-0) and West Chester University Golden Rams (2-2).

Scouting Queens College Knights last Game
9.9.21 Vs. Bloomfield
The Knights returned to Flushing for the first time since November 2019, but the homecoming was spoiled by the visiting Bloomfield College Bears with a 3-1 setback. The set scores were 24-26, 19-25, 25-18, 19-25. Junior
Dee-Ana Mitchell (Middle Island, N.Y.) returned from injury and was effective in her first start of the season as she tallied a double-double with a team-high 11 kills and 12 digs. Freshmen
Christina Franco (Lynbrook, N.Y.) continued her impressive rookie campaign with 10 kills, eight digs, and one block.
Scouting Georgian Court
The Lions have started the season unbeaten with a 5-0 overall record. They have won 10 straight sets including sweeping their last three opponents. On the season, the Lions have tallied 11.4 kills per set, 2.9 aces per set, and 1.7 blocks per set. Leading the offense Kinsy Haschke has produced 48 kills and 11 service aces, while Grace Fenn has produced 36 skills on the season.
Scouting West Chester
The Golden Rams are 2-2 on the season and will go into the match against the Knights on a two-game losing streak. On the season they are producing 12.8 kills per set, 1.6 aces per set, 1.2 blocks per set. Sarah Polacek is leading the offense with 3.77 kills per set with 49 kills, while Grace Whitney has produced 33 kills averaging 2.54 kills per set.
Next Match-up: The Knights will have a short break before they travel to Shippensburg, PA on Saturday (Sept. 18) as they take part in the Shippensburg Tri-Match.
