FLUSHING, N.Y.- The Queens College Men's soccer team concludes the non-conference portion of their schedule with a matchup against Georgian Court University Lions. The two sides are meeting for the first time since the 2017 season. Having met each other four times, the series is 2-2 with both sides having taken at win on the road. Queens has tallied six goals in their two wins, while they have been shut out in both of their losses.

Frank Vertullo's first year, Queens scored three goals in 30 minutes as Pedro Lamarre, Daniel Saint Louis and Emgi Gousse scored to lead the Knights to a 3-2 win. Despite being outshot 17-14, the Knights held the advantage with a 6-4 shots on goal mark. Robert Retnauer was solid was in goal playing 90 minutes as he made two saves to prevent any comeback from the Lions.

(10-3-3 overall) is on a two-game losing streak. They have played in six overtime games and against East Coast Conference opponents the Lions are 1-0-2 on the season. The offense has scored 37 goals on the season averaging 14.5 shots per game. Louis Silva leads the offense with 46 points with 18 goals and 10 assists. Mathias Madersbacher has tallied 13 points with five goals and three assists on the season. Gianluca Cersosimo has started all 16 games in goal and holds 1.42 goals-against average. Having faced 120 shots, Cersosimo has made 54 saves on the season.
