HAVERHILL, Mass. (Mar. 31, 2019) - The Queens College men's tennis team took just two singles matches on Sunday (Mar. 31) as the Knights were defeated by Merrimack College in a 5-2 match played at Cedardale Health and Fitness in Haverhill, Mass.
Cosme Jubera had one of the Knights' wins in singles play, winning the second flight over Jonathan Garcia by a 6-2, 6-1 score. QC's only other point came at sixth-singles with
Mariano Biblioni triumphing against Paul Weidinger in a 6-0, 7-6 (7-4) decision. The Knights were swept in doubles play by the Warriors and were unable to pick a point off of their NE-10 opponents in the loss.
Queens will look to regroup with its final regular-season home match on Friday (Apr. 5) against East Coast Conference rival NYIT at 1 p.m.
