FLUSHING, N.Y. (Mar. 30, 2019) - The Queens College men's tennis team picked up just one point in singles play on Friday (Mar. 29), falling to Southern New Hampshire University by a 4-1 score in a regional match in Goffstown, N.H.
Lucas Demuth had the lone win for the Knights in fourth-singles, defeating Bas Van Biezen by a 6-4, 6-4 count. Queens had lost the doubles point despite
Cosme Jubera and
Jose Zurro winning a 7-6 (7-0) match at the third-tandem against the Penmen. The Knights also fell in Nos. 1-3 singles which left the fifth and sixth matches unfinished as SNHU had clinched the match in its entirety.
Queens returns to action on Saturday (Mar. 30) against Franklin Pierce University at 2:30 p.m.
