QUEENS, N.Y. - The Queens College volleyball team dropped to 1-1 on the season following a three set loss to Saint Anselm Sunday afternoon at Fitzgerald Gymnasium.  Set scores were 25-23, 25-21 and 25-22, all in favor of the Hawks.

Senior Elsa Buchmiller registered 10 kills in the contest, and added 11 digs for her second double-double in as many games.  Sophomore Jessica Yin registered a game-high 31 assists for the Knights.

Saint Anselm's Brennah Gladwill notched a team best 12 kills in the contest, while Jewel Hays tallied 28 assists.

Queens looks to get back on track Tuesday evening, when it welcomes Southern Connecticut State to Fitzgerald Gymnasium for a 7:00 pm start.
