Philadelphia - Queens College sophomore, Madison Rowland earned Daktroncs First Team, All East Region, it was announced on Friday, March 13 but the selection committee.  Rowland was selected to the Second Team just a season ago.

In a season of superlatives for the sophomore from Albany, New York, Rowland adds All East Region First team to her treasure trove of accolades that includes All ECC First Team and ECC Player of the Year.  She currently leads the nation in steals per game and leads all sophomores in the country in scoring.  She was a five-time ECC Player of the Week honoree.

Rowland and the Knights open play in the NCAA East Regional on Friday, March 13.  As a #5 seed and ECC champions, they face Stonehilll at 7:30 PM.
