WASHINGTON, D.C. - Senior guard Kristen Korzevinski scored a team high 19 points in the Queens College women's basketball team's 70-59 loss to UDC Saturday afternoon.  The setback dropped the Knights' record to 2-1 in East Coast Conference action.

The two squads played an even first half, as the game was knotted at 19 after the first quarter and even at 32 at intermission.

The Firebirds distanced itself by outscoring Queens 15-4 in the third frame, as the Knights shot just 2-for-12 from the field in the quarter.  The teams both scored 23 points in the fourth quarter, as QC was unable to come back from the 11 point deficit.

Taj Baldwin-Kollore scored a game high 27 points for the Firebirds.  All eight players that played for the Knights scored at least three points.

Queens returns to the court Saturday, Jan. 2 against Dominican (2:00 pm).
