Flushing, N.Y. - The Queens College women's basketball team won its sixth-straight match with a 92-34 triumph over Concordia College from Fitzgerald Gym on Monday in Flushing. Madison Rowland scored a season-high 35 points on 16-25 (64%) shooting.
The Knights jumped out to a 13-0 lead as Madison Rowland scored nine points and MacKenzie scored four. MacKenzie Rowland finished with 16 points and a game-high three blocks. Amber Harrison came off the bench to score a season-high 15 points on 6-10 shooting.
Harrison scored a three-pointer with 0:52 seconds left in the first half to put QC ahead, 52-16; which was the halftime score.
The Knights pushed the lead to as many as 59 points when Joya McFarland made a trifecta with 2:24 left.
In the triumph, Queens outscored the Clippers in the paint, 44-10. They also beat them on points off turnovers, 45-9.
The Queens College women's basketball team returns to action on Saturday, January 10, when they host District of Columbia. The game time is set for 1:30 PM.
