Volleyball Falls to Roberts Wesleyan on Senior Day

Flushing, N.Y. - The Queens College volleyball team praised its lone senior, Ceren Kilic, before the match, but in the end Roberts Wesleyan triumphed, 3-1, in a match played at the auxiliary gym in Flushing.  The scores of the sets were 27-29, 25-20, 25-15 and 25-18.

Kilic, who came to Queens from Istanbul, Turkey, closed out her college career with 32 assists and 11 digs.  Francesca Indoni also posted a double-double with 10 kills and 10 digs.  Xhesi Domi had a game-high 17 digs.

The Knights won the first set as the game was tied at 27-all when Tori Bowser registered a block and Xhesi Domi's serve led to an attack error to account for the final two points.

Queens finished the 2013 season with an overall record of 10-13 and an East Coast Conference mark of 4-12.
