Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. (January 26^th, 2013) – The Knights women's basketball team won their season-high third game in a row against the Mercy Mavericks 63-47  to move to 4-5 in the East Coast Conference.  

The first half of the game went the Knights way, as they led Mercy 36-26 at halftime. Led by senior Bria Jackson's 14 first-half points as well a three-point basket from three different Knights- Jackson, sophomore Marie Byrnes and freshman Kristen Korzevinski- the offense was rolling. The Knights also picked up 5 offensive boards, while Mercy picked up 1 in the half. On the defensive side of the ball, the Knights cleaned the glass 19 times while Mercy had 10 rebounds defensively.

The Knights started the 2^nd half on an 8-0 run and never looked back. Jackson added eight more points in the 2^nd half, which gave her a team-high 22 for the day against Mercy. The Knights outrebounded Mercy in the 2^nd half, ending the day with 13 offensive and 33 defensive rebounds.

The Knights women's basketball team will return home on Wednesday, January 30^th to take on the NYIT Bears at the Maurice FitzGerald Gymnasium at 5 PM.
