Flushing, N.Y. (September 18, 2012) – The Knights
women's volleyball team opened ECC play losing an epic 5 set
contest to the Molloy Lions to go 0-1 in ECC play.
The Knights went down 2-0 in the match after losing the second
set in dramatic fashion, 35-33. QC won the third and fourth
sets, forcing a fifth. In the fifth and final set however,
Queens fell 15 to 5. Knights senior Suzanne Byrne (#8) led
the team in kills with 25 while freshman Else Buchmiller (#6) led
the squad with 24 digs.
Head Coach Leanna Taylor's Knights are back in action on
Thursday September 20th at 7 PM against Adelphi
University.
