ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. - Freshman post player Megan Lonergan (Rockville Centre, N.Y.) used an 11-for-13 display at the free-throw line to help score a team-best 15 points Saturday afternoon at Quealy Gymnasium, as the Queens College women's basketball team competed in an East Coast Conference contest at Molloy College.

The host Lions emerged victorious by a 78-45 decision.

Sophomore shooting guard Nicole Caggiano (Holtsville, N.Y.) added 12 points for the Knights, while junior Megan White (Whitestone, N.Y.) registered eight points and seven rebounds.

Head coach Bet Naumovski's Queens side is back in ECC action at home on Wednesday night (Feb. 1), as the Knights celebrate both National Girls and Women in Sports Day and Faculty Appreciation Day when they play host to Saint Thomas Aquinas College. Tip-off is scheduled for 5 p.m.
