Mordi, McDonald Pace Men's Basketball vs. C.W. Post

FLUSHING, N.Y. - Sophomore guard and reigning East Coast Conference co-Player of the Week, Jeremiah Mordi (Valley Stream, N.Y.) scored a team-best 16 points to go with eight rebounds Wednesday night at Fitzgerald Gymnasium, as the Queens College men's basketball team succumbed to a conference-leading C.W. Post side by an 80-64 count.

Senior forward Khalil McDonald (Queens Village, N.Y.) added 13 points for the host Knights, moving his career total to 952. Freshman forward Nees Nikovic (Brooklyn, N.Y.) came off the bench to register nine points and a team-high nine boards, while sophomore Pat Piasecki (Coram, N.Y.) pulled in eight caroms.

Head coach Kyrk Peponakis's Knights are back in ECC action on "Take a Kid to the Game," and "Summer Camp Reunion," Day, Jan. 21 (Sat.), when they play host to Dowling College in a 1 p.m. tip-off.
