FLUSHING, N.Y. - Junior post player Samantha Gillman scored 14 points and pulled down eight rebounds -- both team-highs -- Wednesday night at Fitzgerald Gymnasium, as the Queens College women's basketball team suffered an 80-58, East Coast Conference setback at the hands of visiting C.W. Post.

Gillman (Bronx, N.Y.) shot 5-for-10 from the field, while sophomore Caitlin Hopkins (Holtsville, N.Y.) added 12 points on a 5-for-7 shooting clip. Freshman forward/center Megan Lonergan (Rockville Centre, N.Y.) chipped in with 10 points (4-for-4 FG) and five rebounds for the Knights, while sophomore guard Nicole Caggiano (Holtsville, N.Y.) led the team with four assists.

Head coach Bet Naumovski's Knights are back in ECC action at Fitzgerald on Saturday afternoon, when they play host to Dowling College on "Take a Kid to the Game," and "Summer Camp Reunion," Day. Opening tip-off for the contest is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
