McDonald, Mordi Score in Double Digits vs. Pace

FLUSHING, N.Y. - Senior forward Khalil McDonald (Queens Village, N.Y.) led the Queens College men's basketball team with 14 points Saturday afternoon at Fitzgerald Gymnasium, while sophomore guard Jeremiah Mordi (Valley Stream, N.Y.) added 11 in the Knights' 66-46 setback at the hands of visiting Pace University on Alumni Day.

Throughout the afternoon, former members of the Queens men's basketball program were honored both with public-address announcements and a reception.

McDonald was 5-for-10 from the floor and 3-for-4 from the free-throw line for QC (3-4), while junior forward Daniel Watson (Mt. Vernon, N.Y.) came off the bench to pull down a game-high seven rebounds.

Head coach Kyrk Peponakis's Knights are back in non-conference action Tuesday night (Dec. 13), when they play host to Stonehill College in a 5 p.m. tip-off.
