The Queens College Men's Basketball team wrapped up the Dominican Holiday Tournament last night in Orangeburg, NY with a loss to host Dominican College 54-48. The loss is only the second of the year for the Knights who fall to 7-2 while Dominican improves to 6-7 overall.
For the first time this season the Knights played on back to back days. Unfortunately, the Knights came out cold. Usually known for their ability to hit the three, the Knights were an abysmal 5-25 from beyond the arc, and shot a total of 28% from the field in the game. The lone bright spot for the Knights was senior guard, Anderson Labase. Labase was a solid 6-10 from the field, scoring 14 points and grabbing 8 rebounds along with 2 steals in Monday night's loss.
The Knights look to re-focus as they travel to Bridgeport on Wednesday for a Conference showdown between the number one and two teams. The Knights (4-0) look to beat Bridgeport (3-2) and give themselves some breathing room in the Conference. All the action can be followed at
