The Queens College Women's basketball team could not hold off a furious Molloy Lions offense in the second half en route to a 69-62 loss. For the second time this year the Knights dropped a game to Molloy to fall to 5-11 (4-5 ECC), while the Lions improve to 4-12 (4-5 ECC).

The Knights found themselves up 53-52 with 5 minutes left when the Lions went on a 15-3 un answered run, which was plagued by crucial Knights turn over's and a Technical foul by the Knights' Jessica Fairweather .
Despite dropping the heart breaker to Molloy junior guard Amanda Bartlett had a fantastic game registering a double-double while shooting 8-18 from the floor, good enough for 23 points. Bartlett also added a game and season high 11 rebounds in the loss. The Knights return to action this Wednesday Jan. 19th when they travel to Dobbs Ferry to take on the Mercy College Mavericks.
