Latoya Edward had a team high 14 kills in the Knights 22-25,
25-17, 25-18, 25-19 victory over Molloy College on Tuesday night in
Flushing. The win was QC's first in two tries this season against
ECC competition.
After dropping game one, QC scored nine of 11 points to break
open a 10-9 game on their way to a game two win. The Knights
trailed just once in game three (1-0) in posting an eight point win
and put up eight of the final ten points to take game four and the
match, 25-19.
Stephanie Schroeder handed out 39 assists, Lisa Marie Papenthin
pounded out 13 kills and Crystal Gordon added eight of her own and
a .400 kill percentage in support of Edward in the win.
