The Queens College Men's Basketball team continued their winning ways Saturday afternoon when they beat N.Y.I.T, 83-66. The win improves the Knights to 3-1 overall and 2-0 in the ECC while the Bears drop to 2-2 and 1-1 in league play.
The Knights used double digit efforts from four different players to prevail in Old Westbury on Saturday. Freshman guard Jeremiah Mordi led the way with a 17 point effort off the bench for the Knights. Mordi was 5-6 from the field and 3-4 from behind the arc. Teammates Akim Neverson and Anderson Labase both added 14 points each in tonight's match up. Khalil McDonald continued his excellent play off the bench adding 12 points on 25 minutes while going 5-8 from the field. Queens also used an exceptional team effort from the free throw line, shooting 86% as a team to help propel themselves over the Bears as well as out rebounding their opponent 36-31.
