Jovana Pavlovic had nine kills and Crystal Gordon added eight as
the Knights beat Mercy College in three straight on Tuesday in
Fitzgerald Gymnasium.
After two receiving errors left QC behind 20-18 in the opening
game, the Knights answered with five straight points on Latoya
Edward's service rotation to take a stranglehold on the game.
Gordon scored the decisive point on a smash into the back right
hand corner to clinch a 25-21 win.
Gordon also ended game two with a kill in a 25-22 decision
before the Knights breezed to a 25-13 win in the third game to take
the match.
Stephanie Schroeder handed out 20 assists and Alexa Santiago had
a team high eight digs for the Knights.
